Important Things To Remember For 2009
- Donna ISD's Plan Year is January 1st, 2009 - December 31st, 2009
- The ANNUAL ENROLLMENTfor Donna ISD will take place from December 1st through December 16th for a January 1st effective date. Specific dates will be sent through your campus. Benefits will then become effective January 1st or upon approval of Evidence of Insurability, if required.
- NEW EMPLOYEESwill have 31 days, from their date of hire to enroll. This applies to the Cafeteria Plan, Health Plans and Supplemental Plans. For questions regarding benefits or for assistance completing your enrollment, please contact a CBG Representative at 800-749-6458.
- Once enrolled in the Cafeteria Plan, MID-YEAR CHANGES can only be made based on an IRS Qualifying Event. Employees have 31 days after a Qualifying Event to make changes based on that qualifying event. It is the responsibilty of the employee to notify the Donna ISD Risk Managment Office of such changes.
